Historic Musket

I wondered if posting a little trio of firearms photos might stir some controversy: especially under the stereotype of "Americans and Their Misplaced Obsession with Guns". It is not my intention to be controversial.
I do own hunting firearms and a couple of British historic military rifles, but I am not entranced with owning them. Nor do I think the US Constitution is being interpreted correctly guaranteeing gun possession; but I also believe my personal property is not subject to confiscation.
Make no mistake: violence must stop; gun violence must stop.

You are right to condemn the violence that can result from the possession of firearms ...
Best wishes ... Steve
L. L. Wall club has replied to Eva Lewitus club... but I understand -- there are too many modern guns, too many powerful guns, for questionable reasons; and the level and incidence of violence is increased ...
To me, the borderline is clear between what used to be American gun ownership, what my dad thought of as correct and responsible gun ownership, and what it so often is now.
