St Croix River
The rocky shoreline and pier are in Calais Maine USA. The pilings, lighthouse, and everything on the far shore is St. Stephen, New Brunswick Canada. The "St Stephen Lighthouse" is a faux lighthouse, never functioning as a navigation aid; sign on it says "Incorporated 1871". The St Croix River is tidal here; but the fall line (and international border crossing bridge) is less than a kilometer upstream.
