Streymoy,Tjørnuvík: Giant and Witch


Accordind to the legend the two distant sea stacks Risin & Kellingin (Giant and Witch) are fossils of an old woman and giant who tried to drag the Faroe Islands back to Iceland. The rising sun suprised them and they were turned into stone.

Il tempo è stato tipicamente nordico durante i primi giorni, mentre gli ultimi mi hanno consentito di fotografare in condizioni ottimali. Gran parte del merito va alla natura di queste isole, meravigliosa e incontaminata.
