Streymoy,Tjørnuvík: Giant and Witch
Accordind to the legend the two distant sea stacks Risin & Kellingin (Giant and Witch) are fossils of an old woman and giant who tried to drag the Faroe Islands back to Iceland. The rising sun suprised them and they were turned into stone.

Non credo che sia facile fotografare in queste isole dove il tempo è molto bizzarro e poco soleggiato. In realtà queste difficoltà danno spazio al bravo fotografo di esprimersi al meglio studiando come rendere al meglio il luogo. Secondo me con questa tua serie di foto sulle Faroe Islands ci sei riuscita perfettamente.
Interessante e simpatica la leggenda relativa ai due faraglioni.

Grazie infinite caro Gastone per questo apprezzamento che mi rende davvero felice.
Il tempo è stato tipicamente nordico durante i primi giorni, mentre gli ultimi mi hanno consentito di fotografare in condizioni ottimali. Gran parte del merito va alla natura di queste isole, meravigliosa e incontaminata.
