HFF from St Michaels Mount ~ Cornwall

What a wonderful location and what a wonderful castle,dear Nick! Excellent picture!
How can you go there ! By boat or by the path? I look at the map and saw a cobble path. I think i will add this place to my list.

Hi dear GGR There is a causeway that links the island to the mainland at low tide, once the tide rises then you have to take a boat. It is well worth a visit ~ I hope that you get there ~~~ Hanwe & warm wishes

Very nice composition, and a very interesting place. Unfortunately I missed it on my trip to Cornwall last year, so it will have to go on the list for next time!

I cannot find the fence, but I don't care. This is beautiful. We have never visited St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, but have been to the one in France. I think this is superb.

Hi dearest LGM ~ There is no fence in this view only ramparts and battlements, walls and steep approaches ~ so I haven't put it in the group. I have photographed the French one several times, but never set foot on the island, whereas I've been all over the Cornish one. Thanks for your generous compliments and good wishes.
