You are right the border to Czech Republic is very close. This picture www.ipernity.com/doc/2247842/52258224 shows it better, all the trees in the background are Czech.. But the border is no more than some markers in a stream!

Certainly it was nice to visit there again!! Very cold, and almost nobody there, so a nice warm hotel room was wonderful, and some nice pictures next morning!
