Hi Frank ,
Thank you for visiting!
I am pleased you found it interesting.
The balloon trip must have been a fantastic experience! Certainly gives a nice view!
Unfortunately suicides of bridges is a problem everywhere, especially in these sad times.
You can monitor, but that doesn't solve the problem...
Best Wishes, a good week ahead, and keep safe!!

Hi Pete ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I am so happy that you like the scene.
Perhaps the design was based on Roman engineering. Who knows what influenced the architect.
Best Wishes, a good week ahead, and keep safe!!

Hi Annemarie ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
Glad you like it.
Yes, the Romans were great civil engineers, and we still have so much of the Latin language in our own languages today.
Best Wishes, a good week ahead, and keep safe!!

I have been there a few years ago (in 2009). It is always impressive to realize what has been achieved with the technology of the earlier centuries.

Hi Erhard ,
Your visit is most welcome. Thank you.
I am so happy that you like the scene.
Maybe an old design, but construction is comparatively modern!
The architect even put his name on the adjacent building!
Best Wishes, a good week ahead, and keep safe!!

My dear Peter,

Yes I really admired this masterpiece of engineering.
The largest brick-built bridge in the world!
As Erhard said; it is always impressive to realize what has been achieved with the technology of the earlier centuries!
Captured wonderfully! I am so happy for this picture. Thank you very much!
