Hey Nick, Yes indeed. Im not at all sure what happens here with the grapes, the farmer may just sell the grapes and if he makes wine there I do not know of it. IF so I might like several bottles ::))
We so love a great glass of wine!!!!! hugs Sarah

Nice shot Sarah - I learn something new every day, I was not aware that grapes were grown in Georgia. For wine or fruit?

All the best, Doug

Hi Sarah,

Nice to see the real side of grape vine growing.. I know that vines get a few mentions in the Bible, and didn't Jesus change water into wine.. So it must be good for us!!

Best Wishes, and a good weekend!

Hey there Peter, thanks for your visit... Yes indeed the grape / wines are mentioned in the bible.! at one scene, women are in a large pool like/ container of some sort, smashiung the grapes with clean feet, readying it for wine. and Jesus did change water into Wine. SO I think we are all OK with a nice drink/ drinks/ of wine, James and I LOVE a good glass of wine pretty often. and at Missionary Baptist Churches, when the Ordinance of the Lord's Supper is served, a tiny glass of wine is served with small pieces of bread. tho the wine is a good grade of a lovely grape juice..both represent the blood and the body of Jesus Christ. one of my favorite Ordinances that Christians celebrate!

Hope next week is a good one for you Peter. Sarah

I am aware that wine is produced in most, if not all, States (including Alaska).
But I need to Google it to see what varieties are happy in Georgia, if not the old traditional Scuppernong Muscardine sweetish type!
I am out of touch, I used to follow trends in the wine world but that was over 10 years ago.
I'll report back if I have the time and if there is interesting news: I'm sure there is!

Andy, I think the grapes you mentioned are probably surely one of the varieties of grapes grown here. when you google all this, please remember to let me know too, OK?

Hello my dear Sarah Well there certainly is no shortage of sunny weather there for the Grapes to grow and the vines certainly look to be doing well .... I hope there are a few Red Varieties there for my wine :))

Best wishes ... Steve xx
