WE feel this rope fence is all about what it represents.... the life long career of the owner of this property. He was in the business of building ships, a Marine, is the information we received about him, a nautical theme seems to be his incentive. Its quite nice and was such a surprise when we were out on a country ride and came upon this. HAD to take a shot and use for HFF :))

Hi Sarah,

I really do like this catenary curve fence, especially the mix of different size poles he has chosen, Maybe the guy is a mathematician as well as a sailor!
Apart from looking pretty, perhaps its purpose is to stop people wandering into the ditch in the dark!

Hello there Peter! good to see you here, Glad you stopped by with your perspective on this rope fence. Im assuming you may have read the info,,, We were drawn to the different sizes of poles also Peter, It really IS a good looking display that goes down hill a bit until it comes to an open area for driving into I think, tho we DID NOT... hahaha, yep this would trip anyone in the dark wouldn't it? :)) thanks for your visit and comment..... kind wishes, Sarah enjoy your weekend!
