Alan Drury club has replied to Sarah O' clubSarah O' club has replied to Alan Drury clubAlan, the Eclipse was awesome across the United States but when it reached our area, around Savannah, Georgia and on inland where I am, we developed serious cloud coverage, SOOO a lot of people bitterly disappointed... I had a hard time finding the proper glasses for James and me, but we did get them at last minute, but the clouds made it so that we did NOT need any eclipse glasses at all. BUT it was awesome to see it turn THAT dark at 2:45 in the afternoon... Our yard lamps came on,( that come on automatically each evening at dusk) so we all, He and I, and 2 grandchildren went out as everyone else in town, and just stood out in the awesomeness of this eclipse!! it was magical even tho no good look at the eclipse itself..
best wishes Alan, Sarah
