My dear Füsun,

I think this is a really lovely special picture! I like it very much!! Yes, you have photographed a special event as the full moon turned red in the eclipse, but you have framed it so well between the buildings. It brings out the context of Istanbul, and your own house so well. Finally, you have picked your time to include one of the many birds I remember from my visits there. Perhaps "Fly me to the Moon".....
While I could not see the eclipse in England, we certainly shared the moment!

I took it at the end of the eclipse. Around 05:00 o'clock. It was very cloudy at start...
Yes it was taken from my window in Istanbul.
