There has, shamefully, always been what Perranporth residencts call 'The shit slick' which moves around the coast between Newquay and Portreath. It's a shocking state of affairs and always has been. So it's not news but maybe the recent adverse publicity might help get things done - but I don't hold up much hope; the authorities and Southwest Water are churning out all the old lines - 'not our fault', 'it's a natural phenomenon', etc etc.

This is a great picture of this cove. The sand is amazing - so beautiful and yellowy. When I saw this picture - I thought that you'd had some wonderful weather down there - then I read the note at the bottom. We had some horrendous weather too - rain and high winds, but also some sunshine in bursts.
