It must be a language misunderstanding. I agree there is no avenue but I am standing on a ruaral path as it goes to the right off the photo in the foreground and re-emerges from the right one-third of the wy up.
I will of course remove it after an explanation of what I have done wrong, for future reference and so as not to make more mistakes. I look forward to you reply.

Wonderful area for hiking. We hiked in Lava Lands and Newberry Volcanic Monuments yesterday, a bit rougher country even than this.
