Not so cold, Gudrun!
After a couple of hours in the sun, they warm up very nicely! Certainly warmer than the sea itself. But even the sea here gets warm water from the Caribbean since it´s in the path of the Gulf Stream.

I remember the seawater pools in Guernsey which were so cold that even the local kids only went in in neoprene suits;-) But of course that's the Channel...

It depends on the time of year. September is best. Even July can be very cold.

Not that I know of, Steve. Jellyfish at the edge of the sea buried close to the surface under the sand are sometimes a painful nuisance but they don't usually frequent rock pools.
