I have to say though, that the people at Bankia (students of mine for 3 years) were amongst the nicest students I have known. I taught the General Manager, the man who is generally credited with transforming the fortunes of the bank after its disastrous and corrupt period. I also taught the personal secretaries of the former directors who are now serving time in prison (including the former chairman who was once the Minister of the Interior!)
But this is Spain, after all!
