Joe, Son of the Rock ^club

A spectacular vista, Andy, with great play between light and shadow. I love the perspective of the vegetation receding towards the cliff and then the direction of the perspective changing and moving to the left. This creates a strong triangular shape that adds to the composition. The cloud formation is very striking. Cheers, Joe

Nope! It's a good old Cornish name (and sounds very Cornish to me!).
Mind you, I have no idea what it means! It's the name of the only farm for a long way around and it farms the land round here, including the NT land. You don't see the name on maps (except for the farm) but it stuck in my mind as the name for the area after my geography teacher said it was the name to use! (And this was at school in Sutton, Surrey, not in Cornwall!!)

We all know it but it took me a while to learn. Coming from (generally) cloudy Britain and moving to a cloudless Spain (at least for the first 6 months i was there with a camera) I was so smitten by the brilliant blue skies that I rather overdid my pics of them!. I learnt gradually!
