I bet you just looked away for a moment and missed it happening!

Nevertheless, it conveniently makes a super focal point int he foreground of this lovely coastal landscape shot. Nicely composed and taken Andy!

It could easily have happened in the past few years. The cliff behind me has really crumbled very rapidly in my lifetime! Not the cliff you see, that is made of sterner stuff, although the big sea cave indicates that it too will collapse into a bay and islands eventually.
