Enjoying your travelogue of the Cornish coast Andy, reminds me of places seen, but also spotlights those that were missed!

It's a sporadic travelogue, Roger,
On average, these past 7 years, I get to return about a week a summer, no more!

What a shame you had to miss the other island. It looks beautiful.

Even though I always have a copy of the Tide Times for Cornwall, I can't always time my visits as I would like: family commitments, poor weather, holiday traffic, etc. So I have had the ambition to get over to the smaller island for many years but have never quite managed it!
The thing is that the opportunity only presents itself about 3-4 times a year during daylight hours, and I spend no more than 10 days a year in Cornwall and possibly a max of two days here! So you can see how the numbers are against me!

For someone who spends so little time in Cornwall, you certainly get about..!! A shame you missed the tide, but you didn't miss the shot........which is fantastic..!!

Well I have 5 summers of 1 or 2 weeks each time, in the past 7 years - of photos to choose from. Unfortunately, when I did live here, I didn't have a camera or even a cameraphone! But I did have a car and could have recorded some magnificent places. :o(

Similar story with me...........30 years in the RN and I've been all over the world. Unfortunately I didn't develop a real interest in photography until I left the RN in 1998, so very little to show from that time!
