At one time I was coming here three times a week. It was my therapy for giving up smoking!
I was encouraged by the fact that as each week passed since I gave up smoking, I was able to increase my walking capability - related obviously to lung capacity. And the difference was immediate, measurable, and incredibly satisfying! I had become an addict of non-smoking!

Well Done that fella !

Having a heart attack stopped me ! Ten year on 31st dec coming.. and so glad of it.

I love these mountains. The only thing I miss here is the sea. In Cornwall I get both rocks and sea, even if the granite isn't as spectacular as here (although some of the sea cliffs can be!). If this was by the sea, it wouldn't be the same due to the hordes of tourists. You can go some days here without seeing another person at all!

Such amazing and interesting geology in these mountains, Andy. I am enjoying your hikes up here.

What an amazing collection of shapes and textures. The rocks look just glorious in the sunshine and the grass in the foreground leads the eye into the shot nicely.

Wonderful place for hiking and exploring.

Would love to see more of your Cornwall but also of Spain.

That's easy! I have decided, for the time being, to post 3 from Spain on one day, followed by 3 from Cornwall, the next day, interspersed occasionally with shots from elsewhere!

Yes there's a lot, for example much of the west coast of Europe including Scandinavia, Eastern Canada (actually the same formation) and much more besides, around the world.
