There is a good (and gentle - my girlfriend likes it! ) path from the Monastery-Palace to Zarzalejo (in time for lunch) and back. With her, we follow the roman road. On my own, I cross Las Machotas. Both routes are good!

I will look for it, I will look for it, I will have gone 3 times to the escorial and I have never been able to enter, it has been closed whenever I go I think it was Sunday or Monday ? Do not know? But if I stayed in the village one night to sleep because it rained a lot and the food in the area is delicious, in that restaurant that is a rice cooker, uhmmm well be like there.Saludos Feliz Navidad Andy.
