La réponse est simple : on n'a pas accès à ces parterres. C'est, en fait, une dépendance de L'Orangerie composée de quatre pièces de gazon et d’un bassin circulaire. Elle accueille en été 1 055 arbres en caisses, dont palmiers, lauriers-roses, grenadiers, eugénias et orangers qui séjournent en hiver à l’intérieur du bâtiment.

This photo was also presented on the site 'Flickr' ... and gave rise to various comments among which I raised the following question; "How did you make this picture without any visitors ?"
The answer is simple : you do not have access to these flowerbeds. It is, in fact, an outbuilding of L'Orangerie composed of four pieces of grass and a circular basin. It welcomes in summer 1,055 trees in boxes, including palm trees, oleanders, grenadiers, eugenias and orange trees that stay in winter inside the building.

This looks so well ordered, much more than Ipermity ever was! A lovely shot that will make its way on any platform!
