Amargosa Sand Dunes
Traveling from Death Valley to Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge we saw these sand dunes in the distance, but our information warned us of the danger of getting stuck without a four-wheel drive vehicle, so we had to be content to view them from a distance.

I first thought it were the ones in DV but then had a look on the map. I would have loved to walk to those in DV but it was just too hot when we were there, 113 °F

I've been stuck on a sand dune with a four wheel drive in Morocco. It is not fun. It take flattening the tires and a lot of digging to get free.
