Santa Elena Canyon

This was Santa Elena Canyon at dawn from our campsite at Ocotillo Grove. The Rio Grande, the border between the USA and Mexico, flows through the canyon into the park. Later in the day we would kayak up the river and into the canyon but first we hiked a short trail along the American side of the river.
