Golden Currant

Golden Currant
Golden Currant or Spicebush is a shrub native to this area. It is flowering now and will soon be producing its beautiful golden-orange fruit. We were hiking yesterday at Hog Lake and saw it there but hope to grow some in our garden from cuttings. The birds like the fruit, however, and it is usually hard to find any when they are ripe.

Simply beautiful Ron. I love the colours and the flowers look so good against the blue sky.
