Chisos Red Oak

I believe these are the leaves of a Chisos Red Oak photographed on our hike in the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park. The inset photos are a miscellany from the same hike.

I hope all is well...I am crossing my fingers that Neal and your parents are safe from the virus. It worries me :( but hopefully they avoid getting ill. I'm sure you guys are doing just as fine as we are. My new feeling of concern is...when will this end and when will life begin to transition back to a state of "normalcy"? And what will "normal" look like? For sure, things will never be quite the same.
I wanted to come by to say hello and let you know that I've been thinking about you and wanted to give you a virtual *hug* and a wave! Last night Steve took a pork loin, braised it with a rub of garlic and olive oil..then put in the oven to bake...it came out so delicious! :)
Ok, I'm off...have a wonderful day!!
Healthy week ahead Ron.
Have a good new week ;-)
Take care and stay well, Ron!
