South Rim
This was our first view from the south rim of the Chisos Basin near where we stopped and ate our lunch. The day was hazy but warm and we had hiked for several hours when we stopped. The Chisos Basin is in the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park and the hike to the south rim, though strenuous, is one of the most spectacular and beautiful hikes in the park
