Miner's Cabin

Miner's Cabin
After driving out of Warm Springs Canyon on the south end of Death Valley National Park we drove north through the main tourist areas and then into the mountains on the west side. In the mountains we drove to the site of the mining town of Skidoo which turned out to be nothing but sagebrush and a sign, but visited several old mining structures and cabins on the way. This was a miner's cabin and had the old bedsprings and an old wine bottle still inside (see insets).

I looked the bottle up on line and it is indeed modern, in fact they still sell a wine with that label and date on it, so there's no need to eat any kind of pie.
