Darwin Falls

Darwin Falls
Darwin Falls are located just west of the town of Panamint Springs near the west side of Death Valley National Park. They are at the end of a long canyon part of which can be driven and the rest hiked in order to see the falls. They are not that high, only 20 feet (10 meters) but are a refreshing change from the arid landscape of the park. They are named not for Charles Darwin, but for a local rancher and miner and are one of only four perennial streams in Death Valley.
