Tulips

Tulips
We were out last week Tuesday evening for a little while to see the tulip and daffodil fields in the Skagit Valley. The tulips were just starting to show color except at this farm where they were all in bloom. We concluded that they must have some way of forcing them en masse, but have no idea how.. These are display gardens so that is even more likely. In any case we stopped just befopre closing time and took a few pictures from the parking area since we did not want to pay the entrance fee for only a few minutes. The photo is my wife's.

J P Jackson, Dave Roberts 2014, Ulrich John, and 44 other people have particularly liked this photo

Wow!! Gorgeous!!! Excellent composition and detail... Our Tulips aren't even showing buds yet and we had a very hard freeze last night that killed off all the more sensitive Spring flowers (all the Magnolia blossoms are gone).
