Corn Lily

The Corn Lily or False Hellebore, veratrum viride, is a huge plant, standing over six feet tall (180 cm) with its large pleated leaves and flower spikes. The flower spikes are branched, bearing hundreds of these green flowers. It blooms shortly after snowmelt and is a very common alpine and subalpine plant.
