Yellow Mountain Heather (Phyllodoce glandulifera)

In Explore July 30, 2009, #158.
This is one of the rarer alpine plants we saw on the tundra on our day hike to Snowbird Pass. Like many alpine plants it grows only a few inches tall. Both plant and flowers are covered with sticky glands.
