In Explore January 17, 2009, #332.
A miniature orchid species from Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and Brazil. The individual flowers are only approximately four millimeters in size.
This was one of my first uploads on Flickr and the first picture to make Explore. At that time I had not heard of Explore and did not know much about Flickr - it was just a place to post pictures. Since then I've left Flickr and moved to Ipernity, the best move I've ever made, since the site has become nothing more than a place to dump phone pictures.

It's amazing how far Failr has fallen from what it used to be, isn't it? Now it's just a place to dump all manner of crappy snapshots taken with "smart" phones. And so bloated it's damn near impossible to even navigate. If it weren't for the BBG's official grp. there I would've left and never looked back, too =\
