I take it this is art commissioned by Berlin for the people....we have the city use our tax dollars the same way .... some of our city art around buildings has been incorporated by the developers as part of the overall design.... they are paid for by the developers. Almost every new building seems to incorporate some modern art and water fountains.

I like the use of two different woods and would like to know why too.... a bridge over nothing?

This "bridge" is part of a children's playground - very swanky.
