Der Blick nach oben

Das Panometer ist ein Ausstellungsgebäude in Leipzig. Mit dem Bau des ehemaligen Gasometers wurde 1909 begonnen - die Stilllegung erfolgte 1977.
Der kreisrunde Ziegelbau (s. PiP) hat einen Durchmesser von knapp 57 Metern. Die Höhe des Wandmauerwerks beträgt 30 Meter, und die Kuppel mit der "Laterne" erreicht 49,4 Meter.
