Lol! I have personally known or been related to many men who have done similar. My father was the biggest culprit for this kind of thing - although when working, not ever trimming trees. A cousin's husband died after falling off his ladder at home a few years ago.

You would think they would get the 'connection' ... no safety equipment = possible injury~

We had an Arborist in Florida who was no-holds-barred if any employee didn't wear safety gear. She asked me [since she knew I took photos of anything going on in our yard .."when the guys come, how about a few of them? Want to be sure they are doing what they are supposed to be.
Sent her some shots of the guys trimming our trees .. all had the gear on. One of them told me, "I want to go home tonight --"
