Aleppo soaps

Aleppo soaps
Syrian soap makers have largely moved to Jordan, Turkey, France and Germany. The cities (mainly Aleppo) in which they have manufactured olive oil soap for hundreds of years are deadly and largely destroyed.

en.qantara.de/content/aleppo-soap-balsam-from-a-war-zone 'We hope we will be able to return to Aleppo soon,' says Mohammed. 'We are very tired.'

Yes! I saw an article with before and after photos of different landmarks and neighborhoods. Al-Assad will go down in history as a savage, as will other participants in that war. It's incomprehensible, this multi-faceted travesty, all in the name of raw power. Syria has had very educated citizens. Now many of them are dead or in exile.

One of the best soaps! It makes me sick to think that Western meddling in the Middle East has caused so much death and destruction.
