You are so right! They ceased to be just for cars a long time ago. Their use as workshops is probably even more important, now. I wish I had one!

Haha - I know only one person who does. My cousin, whose 2-car garage contains absolutely nothing else. Weird!

I keep a car in mine, and tools, and books, and car parts, and electronics and computer parts, and general handyman stuff.

That's the proper use of a garage! If I had one I would squeeze my car in to keep the ice and snow off.
