Dropping into the bowl

It's a deep bowl-shaped feature that he first dived into with his bike when he was 6 years old. He promptly broke his arm! Two older boys had to fish him out. ;-(

This is, astonishingly, a renowned skatepark among dedicated skaters and BMX bikers around the world. Several skate boarder magazines and websites list this one in Klamath Falls among the most well-designed and challenging in the world. In one survey about four years ago it ranked in the international top five. A more recent one - different website - rates it in the international top 10. Mind-boggling for such a little nowhere place.
