A border collie named Tofu. Of course, due to his breed, he's in constant (constant!) motion, so I didn't get close to a decent shot. So, it's a painting, instead.

It is hooked in the same sense as "soft and quickly crushed" tofu.

Hahaha! I still, on occasion, find a black cat hair in my laundry or the kitchen. Heaven knows how many are still embedded in my carpet. ^;^

Kiiti - that is the same idea as one of our names for that kind of person: "milquetoast!" It is a deliberate misspelling of milk toast, which is simply bread in hot milk, then sprinkled with sugar. My dad used to eat it, but I think it's mushy and disgusting.
