Dirt biker, 2009

Six years old, already racing BMX bicycles since age four. He has never transitioned to racing motorbikes, as there are many more opportunities for kids to compete on non-motorized vehicles in this sparsely populated area. He and his dad putt around on backroads, sometimes. The slower pace is fine with me!
Here he is on a bigger one two years later (yes, he has all the gear, he's just sitting there!): www.ipernity.com/doc/1227338/38401074/in/album/751356
It's a moto-family. Here is one of my brothers on his Ducati: www.ipernity.com/doc/1227338/37201480/in/album/751356
My twin bros in 1973 on their deafening, ancient Indians (1947 & 1936): www.ipernity.com/doc/1227338/37201446/in/album/751356
My son in his vintage shirt, helmet and bike, an Oldtimers race at the local track:

Diane Putnam club has replied to Andy Rodker clubInsist she wears long socks too please... and long sleeves. I would forbid she to be on the bike without both.
I am serious.. skin tears off really really easily and bones splinter down
Credit to her for doing this.. but do it as safely as possible.
I am an ex-biker.. I speak sense !
