Bas relief, First National bank building
There are many panels depicting local industry. This one shows a logger wielding an axe. Built 1929, opened November, 1930. The bank closed many years ago and other businesses have occupied the building. It is now occupied by a restaurant and offices.

Yes, according to the source on the previous photo, "First National Bank survived the Depression." Oddly, the article doesn't say when it closed and I don't remember if it was still a bank when I left here in 1962. Well, a 13-year-old wouldn't notice anything like that, anyway!
