Wood River running deep

This is a meandering, slow river in Summer, but Spring runoff is making it speedier, here. The water is spring and snowmelt fed, crystal clear and in some places a bright turquoise hue. It is 18 miles long, draining the valley and wetlands between Kimball State Park and Agency Lake to the south. Fishing and kayaking are excellent, according to all reports.
