Marine base foundation


This site was a WWII Marine hospital and rehab base. When the base was closed it was occupied as the campus of Oregon Institute of Technology.

Diane Putnam club has replied to Don Barrett (aka DBs…However, if I were a parent of small children, I would probably want to leave. These houses were so big and so far from town that families who did have kids had older ones, who are not usually dirt-diggers. ; ) All of this happened long before I moved back here. I read that there was intense animosity by the "townies" for these people, who were from...wait for it...California. Most of them were retired people who had sold crummy little tract homes in CA to build mansions in this development (and elsewhere). The town people have always been hostile about any complaints by outsiders for any reason. That's Klamath Falls.
