Although the only Hardware stores I've seen closed on Saturday -- out of business !

Well, it was plural, so...
There are two other small towns I've been to on weekends where the stores are closed then, too. The only thing I can think of is that the locals all do their "big shopping" in the metropolis of Klamath Falls on weekends. So, the stores in farm towns have no business. Weird and kind of sad.

Stuck in a bit of a time warp I think.............but a lovely building frontage nevertheless.

Closed on Saturday could be a religious thing Diane.........possibly the Jewish Sabbath.

Uhhh, Jewish Sabbath closures would not be likely in this area's farm towns. Just sayin'...
