Hahaha - well, I have logging on my dad's side and cattle ranching on my mom's. So, there you are!

My earliest positive memories of time with my father were of riding around to jobs (he was a plumber when he worked) in a beat-up 1940's International Harvester with a windshield that pushed out on the bottom for ventilation, a very bouncy ride, a crank for when the battery couldn't start it, and the constant smell of oil and tools. Aw, that's great! Old Internationals are almost as common as Chevys and Fords around here. My dad, a logger, had an oxidized red 1949-ish Chevy truck. I think he drove it until about 1961.
