Why Walk

Why Walk
The great American question!

This is no longer Can Am Motors and probably hasn't been in 20 years. It's now the car lot of a pawn shop, so if you see anything you like... I've had my eye on that cute 1950 Plymouth for a long time. www.ipernity.com/doc/1227338/36679428/in/album/746288

Keith, I'd love to if it (1) had an engine and (2) the engine compartment wasn't full of wasps! Both are deal-breakers, I think. Lol!

I hadn't thought about it, but "Can-Am" was a label I remember seeing regularly in the past. I assumed I stopped seeing it when I moved from Massachusetts to California in the early 80's, but it could be that it disappeared for other reasons. I wonder if the label is still used in the eastern U.S.

That's what keeps me in midtown Toronto, Diane. In downtown and midtown 40% of households (including mine) never use cars. The ones that do use cars are lousy drivers, of course.
