Arrival of American hippie, 1975
My brother going to work in Bandundu, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo). My parents and brothers were there in 1975 for about eight months working on a communications project.

He still travels for work, but only in the US. I think he probably misses some of that time, too, but he wouldn't want to go back to all the drugs he was using! : o

Definitely interesting, often beautiful, and I miss the new ideas of the time. I don't miss the constant riots of the late 60s and early 70s - but, we might be going in that direction again!
