California Spanish

A style that was popular in the early 20th century, reviving the period of Spanish/Mexican colonization of California. It became "the dominant historical regional style in California" in the 1920s and 30s and is now a very desirable vintage house to own. Because this started in the Los Angeles area, I believe the early movie industry helped to spread the style to many Western US states.
