I was surprised to see this high mound, which was not here when I visited two years ago. Almost no one is buried like this, now.The Keno Cemetery does not have an official caretaker, so this is probably the family's work. The cemetery is extremely helter-skelter, with no design or plan. People are buried every-which-way and I can't imagine how anyone decides where to dig a grave, since a lot of the oldest graves are unmarked.
