Falling farm buildings

Falling farm buildings
This reminds me of photos I've seen of the Orthodox church ruins in Russia.

I've been very impressed with the museum in Tulelake. Though they're in California, they're only a few miles south, maybe they can shed some light on the farming/religious culture of the area.

It will not last very many years. Yes, I thought it was so interesting because it reminded me of Russian church ruins.

Yes, I have been there, too, and the artifacts of the Japanese internment camp are very moving. From my own knowledge: farming is almost entirely limited to three categories: potatoes, cattle and alfalfa. There are some 3rd generation Germans and Czechs, the rest are N. European heritage. Nearly all Protestant. There is also a settlement of Dunkards (similar to Amish) west of Tulelake, in Siskiyou Co. I see them in Klamath Falls, sometimes. Just the basic American rural assortment. Of course, a growing farm worker and entrepreneurial population from Mexico and points south.
