Sundog

Sundog
It's that rainbow-color spot on the right of the bigger, brighter brighter sun. There are also very faint rainbow archs, one above the sun and the other above the sundog. It's the first one I've ever seen! I can cross that off my bucket list. It is possible that there was a matching one on the other side of the sun, although they can appear singly. stunning - like a breeze of sunlight. the halo curve above the middle tree really makes this compositionally - and the exposure brings drama.

Thank you! I had NO idea what that was and had to run inside to search something like "sun reflection!" If I had known to do so, I would have walked to the other side of the building to see if there was a matching one on the other side.
